Spinning

First, I had to post this picture of Britta watching. That's how I felt, too.
We had some friends over last week, and they played dress up. Spinning was probably one of the best things about being a kid.

Family Home Evening fun

A few weeks back we had a fun FHE where we talked about the importance of families. We then made gingerbread people.

Nothing like eating ginger people to remind you how tasty families are.

I decorated them with white chocolate piped out the corner of a ziplock baggie.

YUM.

Roomba House

First off: We love Roomba. I bought 2 for Cameron for Christmas (I found a good deal). And he fell in love -- as did River. One of them gave us problems, so the company, IRobot sent a replacement. So, then we had 3 Roombas (though one doesn't work the way it should). Then the other week I found another Roomba at a yardsale. It still had the original packaging, and looked like it was in great condition. The owner said it had a faulty battery, so I offered her $35 for it and came home with another Roomba. Luckily, we happened to have an extra battery, and TADA! We now have 3 working Roombas (and one faulty Roomba). River treats the Roombas like pets (he often drops food on the floor and when we scold him he says Roomba is hungry).
So, we're believers. We run them daily. And it's fun. And our house is clean.
