New High Chair!

Some family members got Britta this AWESOME high chair for her birthday (ours was in much need of replacing).
We're totally thrilled with is thus far.

It's adjustable in about 30 ways.

Britta is such a good sharer -- or else she likes how her pear tastes after running it through Madalyn's hair.

Happy Birthday Britta

Britta turned a year old yesterday, January 11th. We had a little party with some family. We made her a cake that she got a tiny taste of. She's growing up -- though she's still our little petite girl. I can't believe that just a year ago yesterday she was born in our home in Queen Creek. What a precious time that was.

The kids insisted on getting a gingerbread house we found on clearance at Trader Joe's. It was our birthday activity -- though Britta didn't get to help put it together (neither did I, actually). But it's sure cute!

Speaking of cute... love this girl.

Meet the REAL Santa

We were driving north to play in the snow the weekend before Christmas, but on the way I had to exchange a pair of Christmas Jammies at the Gymboree up in North Phoenix. As luck would have it there was a Santa Claus there WITH NO LINE. I guess there are benefits to living in an area without many kids. I'm pretty sure this guy was the REAL THING. Well... other than the fact that he was passing out promo stuff for The Lion King at Gammage...

I'll bet you're wondering...

... where are the holiday photos from the Alversons?!
They're on my camera still. I had a few hard drive issues with my laptop. It's just now back up to speed and I have yet to upload photos.
There are some good ones, too.
So... stay tuned for some fun updates!
