We took Maddy to play at the park today. She loved playing in the water! I hope we can frequent that park in the upcoming heat! 

We drove to Utah last weekend for my sister Amber's wedding. It was COLD. We had a really good time! 

For mother's day we spent the day in Mesa with our families. In the morning we had breakfast at Cameron's mother's and then we all went to church together. Afterward we all played Simpsons Monopoly. I was the first one to LOSE. 

I just wanted to give an update! Life is going really well for our little family as of late. Cameron's business is picking up. We actually signed our first official client on Monday!! We are excited. This makes us optimistic for the future of this company. My parents' house has a buyer. Now we're wading through formalities so we can get it sold! I hate how complicated selling a house is! Why can't it be more like things at a yard sale. I offer to sell something, they accept -- they give me money, I give them the item. Why are things so difficult?! I look forward to a simpler time. I am glad I at least live in America so I don't have to add language barriers to my issues. Madalyn turned 2 on the 11th. She is quite the 2 year old! She learns more every day. I love her so! And we press on.. 

It's Business

This is what Cameron looks like every day. He is trying so hard to get this business up and running. It's really important to him to succeed. If it's left up to him, his family will never starve.

Starting this Blog

So, I figure this is Blog thing will come in handy sometime. It's good to have a place I can send people if they want life updates or something. I'll see what I can do about keeping it updated.

Right now life is in a pending stage. My husband just started a Marketing firm for small businesses in the city of Queen Creek. Until that gets rolling, we have no source of income. That's a bit scary, but things look good. I have confidence that we'll be fine.

We're renting a house about 30 miles from my parents' house (which is currently on the market to be sold). We are absolutely loving it out here. It is just beautiful. I love the open space. I love that I can see mountains! I love the fresh air. I love how windy it gets! We hope to buy a house out here once finances pick up. Real Estate is SO cheap here right now. I'm sure that won't last long.

Madalyn is growing SO fast. Next Monday will be here second birthday! I can hardly believe it. We hope to have a Sesame Street theme. I still need to buy the decorations. It will be fun. I got her some fun Sesame Street cloth training pants for the occassion. I'm sure she will be thrilled.

So, the family is doing well. We are happy to be back in America in time for all the weddings! We couldn't bare to stay away and let life pass us by. We are here to experience it in full with those we love.
